Classicprint, as the name suggests is the Voiceprint distributed label handling classical music releases. Classicprint was formed partly due to the fact that the classical market remained buoyant, whilst the pop market was contracting. The label has released a DVD from Sheila Hayman entitled ‘Mendelssohn The Nazis and Me’. This is the extraordinary story of what happened to Felix Mendelssohn's music and reputation under the Nazis, told by Sheila Hayman the award winning director and descendant of Mendelssohn's sister Fanny. The film was originally shown on the BBC in the, U.K. There are to be further releases from Classicprint in 2011.
