Label Biography:
ABC Entertainment, is a German based company specialising in DVD releases, although there have been some associated CD recordings. The label is the home for the ‘Beat Beat Beat’, television series which was a German TV show, broadcast from Frankfurt. This show is not to be confused with Radio Bremmen’s ‘Beat Club’. ‘Beat Beat Beat’ ran from 1966 through to 1969 and featured many bands in live performance including, The Kinks, The Hollies, The Yardbirds and The Small Faces. Many of these performances have subsequently been released through the label. Other high profile releases include ‘The Beachboys and Satan’, which was a documentary on the connection between Charles Manson and The Beach Boys. There were releases from Iggy Pop and live concert films from The Brothers Johnson and The Dazz band. With the Brothers Johnson and The Dazz Band DVD, there was also a separate accompanying CD release.
